Sojourn - St. Vincent DePaul

The Sojourn Community Church in Louisville is undergoing a transformation that is more than just a construction project. The church is aimed at becoming a force in revitalizing Louisville's urban neighborhoods. The renovation of the former St. Vincent De Paul facility, valued at $3.5 million, transforms the 1870s-era cathedral into a community complex. Sojourn is asking its creative-class congregation to become part of the surrounding neighborhood. The new Sojourn Midtown facility is scheduled to open in August and will feature an art gallery, children's classrooms, and staff offices. This revitalization project has the potential to turn things around for the neighborhood and contribute to its growth.
